Arizona Automotive Institute in Glendale Arizona seems like a pretty good mechanic school. Has anyone gone? I’ve been pondering a mechanic school like Arizona Automotive Institute, but i’m not sure what’s a good one. I’m looking for flexible schedule (evenings or mornings), good instructors, good labs, modern technology, and the ability to train with specific manufacturers. Any ideas?

You’ve got two primary choices here in AZ so I would suggest checking out Arizona Automotive Institute, also called AAI and Universal Technical Institute – UTI. If you want manufacturer specific programs like Audi, BMW, Mercedes Benz, International Truck, etc you’ll want to check out UTI. If you like motorcycles you can also look into Motorcycle Mechanics Institute in Phoenix. Just some thoughts. You’ll make more going the manufacturer route with UTI and since they have a BMW, Volvo, and Audi program here in Phoenix at the campus it’s a great opportunity not to relocate if you live in near Avondale, Arizona or Phoenix.
